I'm on fellowship this year, so I make my own hours. And various doctors have informed me that it is imperative for me to take this opportunity to improve my physical health. It's kind of serious. But as small as the suggested baby steps are, I have not yet had the willpower to sustain any consistent practice, and I think that's because I've never been able to do anything worthwhile unless I know there's a possibility that someone's looking.
So I'm back to blogging. To anyone who is reading: if there are not four full entries here per workweek, please feel free to act as my drill sergeant, personal trainer, or bully. Each entry must include a brief record of the following: a cardio workout (jumprope/Wii Fit one day per week; on the other three days, bike/elliptical); fifteen minutes of stretching; pushups;crunches; a healthyish breakfast and lunch (I never skip dinner, so there's no need to record it here); confirmation that my apartment is livably clean. It ain't much, but it's better than I've done so far. Any reinforcement, positive or negative, is welcome.
